National Business Registration Portal

Known locally as Cổng thông tin quốc gia về đăng ký doanh nghiệp.

Enterprise registration in Vietnam is handled by Business Registration Offices at provincial level, with the Agency for Business Registration coordinating the system nationally. Its public face is the National Business Registration Portal (Cổng thông tin quốc gia về đăng ký doanh nghiệp) at dangkykinhdoanh.gov.vn, which consolidates records from the National Business Registration Database and also carries an E-Gazette service and online business registration.

The portal's search returns an enterprise's name, enterprise code, head office address, the name of its legal representative and its legal status free of charge, with advanced filters for enterprise type, status and location down to ward level. Paid information services supply fuller products on a specific enterprise, including the roles of natural persons connected to it.

Every enterprise is assigned a single enterprise code that serves as both its business registration code and its tax code, and the code stays unchanged even if the enterprise changes its form or name. The certificate of enterprise registration is the foundational document: from its date of issue the enterprise can commence business activities, except in conditional business lines. The Company Records report for Vietnam includes a Registry Extract sourced from the official register.

Can I get shareholders and beneficial owners?
Yes. This register publishes shareholder and beneficial-owner data, and the record includes it with the ownership chain resolved. The chain is our own work: registers file shareholdings, not the resolved ownership behind them.
How current is the information?
It is retrieved from the register at the time of purchase, so it reflects the register's current state — not a cached copy.
Do I need a subscription or a contract?

What is a Vietnamese enterprise code?
Each enterprise in Vietnam is assigned a unique enterprise code which serves as both its business registration code and its tax code. The code remains unchanged even if the enterprise changes its form or name, which makes it the stable reference for compliance checks. What is a certificate of enterprise registration?
It is the registration document issued by the provincial Business Registration Office once an enterprise is registered. From the date the certificate is issued, the enterprise can commence its business activities, unless it is engaged in conditional business lines that require further licences.
Who runs enterprise registration in Vietnam?
Registration applications are processed by Business Registration Offices at provincial level, and the Agency for Business Registration oversees the national system. Records are consolidated in the National Business Registration Database and published through the National Business Registration Portal, which is the source register behind the Registry Extract in the Company Records report for Vietnam.
