What is a company record?
A company record is the KYB report for one company plus the standard set of official registry documents for its jurisdiction, in a single purchase. The report covers company data, controlling parties, and shareholders and beneficial owners where the register publishes them.
Where does the data come from?
One source only: the jurisdiction's official company register. Nothing is aggregated from third-party databases and nothing is editorialised. The resolved ownership chain and the beneficial-ownership percentages are computed by us from what the register published, and the record says so.
How much does a company record cost?
One price per record, set by a band that depends on the jurisdiction, because what registers charge us varies. There is no subscription, no minimum and no platform fee. The current bands are on the pricing page.
How long does a record take?
Most jurisdictions have an automated registry connection, and the record is delivered in minutes. Some registers have no online search or no automated retrieval. Those are ordered by the company's exact registered name and retrieved by our Registry Services team, which takes longer. The storefront tells you which case applies before you pay, rather than after.
Which jurisdictions can I buy a record for?
Coverage is published per jurisdiction on the coverage pages, including the source register, the price band, and exactly which fields that register does and does not publish. Where a register does not publish shareholders or beneficial owners, the coverage page says so plainly instead of implying we can get them.
Do I need an account or a subscription?
Company search is free without an account, up to a daily limit. You need an account to buy a record, because the record and its invoice are delivered to it. There is no subscription.
Can I get the original registry documents, not just a report?
Yes. The official filings the register publishes are included in the same purchase and are not sold separately. Which documents exist depends on the register, and the document types page explains what each kind is.
How long do you keep my report?
Report content is available in your account for 365 days from purchase, as set out in the Terms of Service. You can delete a report earlier from your account at any time, and the deletion is immediate.
