Part one: the KYB report
- Company profile, as filed: registered name, registration number, status, registered address, incorporation date, and legal form.
- Controlling parties and officers, where the register publishes them.
- Shareholders and beneficial owners, where the register publishes them. Many registers do not, and the coverage pages say per jurisdiction which is the case before you buy.
- Resolved ownership chain, with shareholding percentages carried through intermediate holding companies.
Part two: the official registry filings
The standard set of documents the register itself issues for that jurisdiction, included in the same price rather than sold separately. Which documents exist is decided by the register, not by us. The document types page explains what each one is and what it proves.
What is filed, and what is computed
This distinction matters for compliance work, so the record makes it explicit. Every fact attributed to the register is exactly as the register published it, with no editorial change. The resolved ownership chain and the beneficial-ownership percentages are computed by us from those filings, because no register files a resolved chain. They are labelled as computed, and the filings they were derived from are in the same delivery so you can check the working.
Formats and delivery
- The KYB report is a PDF.
- The registry filings arrive in the format the official register issues, usually PDF and occasionally a scanned image.
- Everything is delivered to your account, with a downloadable invoice.
- Report content stays available in your account for 365 days, per the Terms of Service, and you can delete it earlier at any time.
