Official company records for Cambodia, on demand

Cambodia's commercial register is kept at the Ministry of Commerce, whose Business Registration Department sits under the General Department of Trade Support Services. The department manages business registration, archives, declarations and the data of registered companies, and provides register information to the public, working under the Law on Commercial Rules and Register and the Law on Commercial Enterprises. Its online system carries the Khmer name shown on this page, and most searches on it are free: users can search an entity, a role or a reserved name, or verify a document code.

Since 15 June 2020, new registrations run through the Royal Government of Cambodia's Online Business Registration system on the Single Portal at registrationservices.gov.kh. One application, signed in with a CamDigiKey account, covers business registration, tax registration and the enterprise-establishment notifications, with a decision in eight working days when documents are correct and sufficient, and the digital certificates issued carry the same legal value as paper ones. Companies also file changes through the system, including address updates, amended articles of association and annual declarations.

The Single Portal is built on CamDX, the Cambodia Data Exchange, a unified but decentralised data-exchange layer modelled on Estonia's X-Road. It applies the once-only principle: information submitted once is reused by the other systems integrated with the platform. The Company Records report for Cambodia includes the General Details, Addresses, Controlling Parties, Officers, and Shareholders, Partners and Beneficial Owners documents sourced from the official register.
