About the register

Chamber of Commerce

Known locally as Kamer van Koophandel en Nijverheid Aruba.

Aruba is a constituent jurisdiction of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and keeps its own trade register. That register is maintained by the Aruba Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kamer van Koophandel en Nijverheid Aruba), not by the Dutch KVK: the Netherlands business register authority states that on each island of the Kingdom a local chamber of commerce is responsible for the register of businesses and organisations, under local rules that differ from the Dutch situation. The Government of Aruba requires every business established in Aruba to register at the Chamber.

The trade register can be searched through the Chamber's online My Chamber platform, and registry products are ordered against a selected company. The authenticated extract of registration (uittreksel) is the official proof of registration in the Chamber's register, showing the legal entity, company name and address, date of establishment, directors and company objectives. It is issued in Dutch, English or Spanish, delivered digitally, and carries a unique validation code that can be checked on the Chamber's validation page.

Beneficial ownership is filed separately. From 1 January 2023 organisations in the trade register must register their ultimate beneficial owners in the UBO register, which the Chamber maintains and verifies. That register is not public: access is restricted to designated authorities and licensed financial service providers. The Company Records report for Aruba provides the registry extract sourced from the official register.

What exactly is a "Company Record"?

Can I get additional filing documents?
Every record includes the standard document set for AML and KYB compliance. The official register holds further filings — listed above under "Available separately" — and if you need one beyond the standard set, contact us and we'll arrange it.
Does the record include shareholders and beneficial owners?
The official register does not make shareholder or beneficial-owner data public, so a record cannot include what the register does not publish. The company particulars and controlling parties it does hold are included.
How current is the information?
It is retrieved from the register at the time of purchase, so it reflects the register's current state — not a cached copy.
Do I need a subscription or a contract?

Which body keeps the trade register of Aruba?
The Aruba Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kamer van Koophandel en Nijverheid Aruba) keeps the trade register of Aruba. It is a distinct body from the Dutch KVK, which itself notes that every island of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has its own chamber responsible for its own register under local rules. Every business established in Aruba is required to register at the Chamber.
What does an Aruban trade register extract contain?
The authenticated extract of registration (uittreksel) is the official proof of registration in the Chamber's register. It shows the legal entity, company name and address, date of establishment, directors and company objectives, is available in Dutch, English or Spanish, and carries a unique validation code that can be verified on the Chamber's validation page.
Is beneficial ownership information public in Aruba?
No. Since 1 January 2023 organisations in the trade register, with limited exemptions such as sole proprietorships, must register their ultimate beneficial owners in the UBO register maintained by the Chamber. The register is not public: access is restricted to designated authorities, among them the Central Bank, the Financial Intelligence Unit, the Public Prosecution, the tax authorities and the police, and to licensed financial service providers for customer due diligence.
Can the Aruba trade register be searched online?
Yes. The Chamber operates a registry search through its My Chamber platform, where a company can be looked up and the available registry products for that company ordered, with digital delivery to the account's inbox.
