Known locally as कम्पनी रजिष्ट्रारको कार्यालय.

Companies in Nepal are registered with the Office of the Company Registrar (OCR) in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, which operates under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and administers the Companies Act, 2063 (2006). Registration and ongoing company administration run through CAMIS, the Company Administration Management Information System, through which incorporation and post-registration filings are completed electronically; the office has also introduced automatic creation of the taxpayer PAN, issued by the revenue administration, once a company is registered through CAMIS.

The OCR operates a public company data portal at company.ocr.gov.np, which it describes as giving free public access to registration data kept current from the CAMIS system, with company search by name, registration number or PAN across the registered companies, alongside sector, province and application-status statistics. An AI-based call center provides information on company administration matters.

On beneficial ownership, the Company Registrar issued a direction to all companies, dated 23 Baisakh 2082 in the Bikram Sambat calendar, to submit details of their beneficial owners to the office; the office's published materials describe that collection duty and do not describe publication of those details. Who keeps the company register in Nepal?
